     1. Diffrent Versions

*****************************************************************

To install the plugin, unzip the files into the Morrowind/Data Files
Directory.

The FULL version has the script attached to almost EVERY light source and has the most frequent updates.
You need to use this version if you want to be able to turn off most lights.

The LITE versions version only has the script attached to lights that have a radius larger than 77 and it
has a slightly lower refresh rate. I really recommend using this one. because those lights of radius of 77
and less, have such a small radius that they have almost no affect on the player and drain the CPU time.
However, all of these lights no longer have scripts, so you can not turn them off.

It is up to you to pick and choose the script that best suits your computer and desires. however, the Regular
version is a good trade off between perfection and usability.

*****************************************************************

     2. PLAYING THE PLUGIN

*****************************************************************

From the Morrowind Launcher, select Data Files and check the box
next to the esp file you choose to load.

For the non-tribunal version you need to hit ~ then type
startscript _LBS_start_script or go to Seyda Neen, Census and Excise Office.

With tribunal, just load the mod.

NOTE ONLY LOAD ONE OF THEM.

*****************************************************************

     3. Save Games

*****************************************************************

Plugin should not invalidate your old saved games. If you save
your game while this plugin is loaded, you may encounter error messages
when you reload the saved game without the plugin. You could even lose some of your
sneaking skill. So make sure that when you save it before you remove this plugin that
are away from all lights.

*****************************************************************

    4. Features

*****************************************************************
I though that the sneaking skill was not very interactive. you just pushed a button
and started to sneak. you did not need to do much. So I wanted to make it
more of an experience you have control over.

My goal was to make this as much like the game thief as possible.
Where light is your enemy and darkens your ally.
stay within the shadows and you shall be rewarded, venture into the
light and all is lost.

Ok, actually it is more of stay away from the lights.
The basics of how it works is that the closer you are to lights
the less able you are to sneak. This is intended to make sneaking
more realistic and harder. You must now watch your step carefully.

NEW FEATURE:
You can not turn lights ON and OFF. If you do not like the chances of sneaking
then make them better, by making it a little darker in the area. Just turn
off the offending lights. but be warned you can not turn all lights off.
So you must still exercise caution.

    6. Updates

*****************************************************************

Version 1.0

* too much to list. the whole darn thing

Version 1.0.1
* on the suggestion of Iudas. I looked at the
TheLys advanced sneaking mod because he apparently had a similar bug as me.
I used his ideas of how to get rid of a penalty for good. You have to both remove the
spell and the effect of the spell

Version 1.0.2
* a failed attempt to make this mod run faster

version 1.0.3
* a more successful attempt at making this mod run faster.
used the tribunal command to detect if the Player is sneaking
so that you are only affected when sneaking.
thanks again to Iudas for pushing me to include this in this release.
* I also changed the penalty updates to be based on time instead of frames.
  gives a more consistent update.
* add it so that when ever you stop sneaking the penalty is removed.
So the penalty is only applied when you are sneaking

version 1.0.4
* I added a multiplier to the global script _LBS_GlobalScript so that
you can easily change the penalty to suit you desire. I also scaled it to be
2.5 times the original because some thought that the penalty was too small.
  Just look for the line
  set TempSneakMod to LBS_SneakMod*1.8
in the global script to change it.
* rebalanced all of the high and medium lights to make more of a penalty.
they just seemed out of place.

version 1.0.5
* The other Felix was kind enough to fix my script for the carriable lights.
now when you put them down, they cause a penalty again.

version 1.1
* changed the high lights so that if you are above them you dont get a penalty.
* increased the life of the carriable lights by 5 time the original.
* added a script to carriable lights that did not have a script so all carriable lights
  cause a penalty when held.
* DID not change the Ultra Light Version

version 1.2
* minor bug fixes and cleaning, mainly changing a few lights so that they work properly.
* removed the script from all non-visible lights sources. Just didnt seem right.

version 1.2.1
* minor bug fix to a few scripts. changed a .XX to 0.XX. ie .75 to 0.75, scripting lang dont like .XX
* renamed the files to better fit how much they do.

version 1.3
* I was not going to do this but then Sonanero on the MW forum brought up the idea. So i had to do it to
prove it could be done. I made most lights so you can turn them on and off. i could have done all but
i wanted to leave some lights that cant be turned off.
* now when you are invisible there is no penalty applied to you .thanks garret_strife
* Fixed a bug in the carriable scripts, it was not removing the penalty properly when leaving the area of influence
* removed the spell system and I am directly modifying your stats. Much faster than the spells.
* in all about 40000 lines of code.

version 1.3.1
* fixed a bug with the carriable lights that left a perminant penalty if you let them run out.
* cleaned up the scripts a bit, should run a little faster.

version 1.4
* changed back to the spell system instead of directly manipulating stats. there was a bug with directly
manipulating the stats. when you are successfully sneaking close to a light you would gain a lot of levels
in sneaking when you shouldn't. this should fix that problem. i also like this system better since it gives
you better feedback as to what is happening. I also fixed it so that when adding and removing spells doesn't
  cause the game to stutter.

*****************************************************************

    7. Known Bugs

*****************************************************************

* when teleporting from your penalty may stay with you until you enter and exit a cell or
  start and stop sneaking.
changing cells always resets to penalties, however when you teleport it does not
  register correctly.

* this mod can cause the game to run rather slowly while sneaking. Unfortunately there is
nothing I can do about this because it is the actual applying of the penalty that
is slow, so there is no way around it. (Mostly fixed by directly manipulating the stats)

* the line of sight command does not work for non-actor objects, so you can get nailed
by a penalty from a light that you can not see. This is especially bad in
smaller 2 story houses with lights on roofs between floors. Again nothing I can do.
  (mostly fixed in version 1.1)

* when a carriable light runs out you will be left with the penalty till you change cells.
This is a problem with the way the game handles torches that run out. They just disappear.

*****************************************************************

    8. Known Confilicts

*****************************************************************
* this will conflict with any other mods that also alter light settings.
The largest know conflict is with WGI and adventurers, the Balance items part.
Since he alters all of the carriable lights. To make sure this is not a problem
just make sure that this mod comes after his in your data files list. (it is sorted
by date, so just open this mod in the construction set and save it. now it will be the newest.)
Alternatively you can download a program called TESPCD at
  http://home.covad.net/~elyvsoto/morrowind/tespcd.htm
to remove the conflicting pairs from WGI or other mods.

*****************************************************************

    9. Disclamer

*****************************************************************
* You know the drill, I hope this mod does not mess up your game but i take no responcibility if it
does. Use at you own risk.

*****************************************************************

when you reload the saved game without the plugin. You could even lose some of your
