Вчера послушал the Poison Весьма качественный и драйвовый металкор с мощными риффами и запоминающимися мелодиями, но блин, вокал это просто жесть - трэшевый ор, хоть он и неоригинален и сильно отдает позерством, еще как-то можно проглотить, но второй, более лиричный, у меня просто рвотные побуды вызывает своей незамутненной тру-линкинпарковской чистотой, местами (Tears Don't Fall тот же) вообще напоминает нечто фактор-2-образное - вокал 14-летнего быдлоподростка, брошенного очередной дурой и позерствующего по этому поводу - гадость, особенно улыбнуло наличие кавера на Sanitarium, вот уж где раки зимуют так зимуют. Хорошо хоть не mop, как Trivium. Лирика сносная, в меру осмысленная, но совсем неоригинальная. Обилие любовно-обиженных тем гнетет.

Да здесь все оффтоп кроме первых постов, обсуждение сабжа можно было закончить после первого же ответа на него. Посты на отвлеченные темы можно просто перекинуть в отдельный топик, если интересно.

Действительно странноватый список ) BFMV, Dream Theater, Foo Fighters, Godsmack, Lacuna Coil, Muse, Stone Sour... А вот a Perfect Circle действительно не особенно известная, но довольно интересная группа. Вообще больше кавер-ориентированная, правда. И это не метал, так, что-то альтернативное, переходный момент от попсоватого альт-рока к основному проекту основателя APC Джеймса Кинана - Tool, очень интересному мало на что похожему прог-металу с депрессивно-психоделичной атмосферой и множеством эмбиентовых вставочек. По subj'у - не так давно откопал финскую команду Force Majeure, очень мелодичный, наивный и жизнерадостный power, особенно порадовал вокалист, напоминающий окончательно съехавшего с катушек Тобиаса Саммета из Edguy с аналогичной манерой пения... Ну это же не единственные причины. Я бы вот и этот топ мог полать туда же. Imho - все вышесказанное кроме постов топикстартера + такое нововведение просто портило бы впечатление о форуме в целом. А вообще, если твое сообщение/топ удалили, надо радоваться, что не ткнули носом, а не предъявлять претензии.

То есть, истинный стиль - это простые замозоленные мелодии, скучный вокал, почти полное исчезновение электронных вставок и примитивизация музыки вообще?.. Там есть, конечно, пара интересных треков - Given up, What I've Done, No more Sorrow... Ну и все, наверное. На том же HT практически все песни были хитовыми. И откуда такая информация? Тем более, M2M даже более доступен, чем два первых. Ну, AHIG-то точно нью-метал, металкор это скорее Trivium, Chaimaira, Mastodon...
